Wow! It’s already the end of March! Our 8th MCS Worldwide Reunion and MCS Former Students (Ont.) 30th Anniversary preparations are well underway.

Our committee started planning back in early 2012. We looked for a historic church for our Celebration Mass, a museum to welcome Maryknollers to our city and a hotel with a scrumptious menu for our Gala. We negotiated the best value possible for our event. We met over 20 times in 2012 and 2013 to iron out all the details. As time passes, we see our plan is coming into fruition. All our efforts are put together with one vision in mind: To Relive our Maryknoll Spirit Together as One.

Now, it is only four months away from our Big Weekend. Registrations from around the world are flying into our mailbox and our gmail box. We have passed our 200-registration mark. We would like your support to help make this event an even more successful and memorable one. Please call all your old Maryknoll friends and ask them to join us.

Some of our wonderful Alumni members volunteered to be their class representative and they will organize their own mini class reunion during the weekend. If you would like to contact the representative for your class, please send an email with your name, class of F5 graduation and your questions to, and your class representative will get in touch with you.

Hotel Accommodation

Our special rate hotel rooms ($169 + tax per night for July 31 – August 4 (4 nights)) are running really low. Since it will be our high tourist season, you won’t be able to find hotel rooms at this rate anywhere in downtown Toronto. In order to qualify for getting this special room rate, you will need to first of all register for the WWR event and pay the registration fee. Please indicate on your registration form that you need a hotel room. Rooms are on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED basis. We will contact you if a room is still available. Program Advertisement

We are now soliciting advertisements for the program book. The cost of a full page letter size ad is $300. The cost of half a page is $150. Please consider placing an ad in our program book. This can be done by sending us an email at The deadline for submitting advertisement is May 1, 2014.


We are running a contest for the year with the most participants. You’ll never know which class will win until the end of the game. So keep sending in your registrations!!
